Shikhar Pahariya, rumored to be dating Janhvi Kapoor, responds to troll's caste-based remark

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor's reported girlfriend Shikhar Pahariya has slammed an individual for a caste-based comment on his Diwali post from last year.

The previous year, Shikhar had shared some photos of his pet as well as Janhvi Kapoor, wishing his fans on Diwali. On the photos, one person wrote: "Lekin tu toh Dalit hai (But, you're a Dalit)."

Shikhar Pahariya Dalit saw this comment and decided to keep it from letting go and share an image of the user's posting on his Instagram Story, he wrote, it’s truly sad that, in 2025, we have people with these tiny, outdated views. Diwali is a festival of light, progress, and unity-concepts that are clearly beyond your limited intellect."

In his blog post, Shikhar wrote: "Happy Diwali from us to you. Shikhar Pahariya, the grandchild of the former Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Her mother Smruti Shinde, was an actress.

His elder younger brother Veer Pahariya had his Bollywood debut in Sky Force.

Shikhar Pahariya, along with Janhvi Kapoor are frequently seen together, and he often accompanys the actress to Tirumala.
